Just 15 minutes from the Georgian City of Bath,Wadswick Country Store is a family run business established in 1987. It caters for country pursuits such as Horse-riding and Shooting.

Alongside the extensive range of specialised clothing and footwear is a large collection of branded casual clothing - Barbour, Dubarry, Toggi, Musto and Schoffel to name just a few.
The shop has a large range of animal feeds, saddlery, equestrian clothing, pet accessories, shooting equipment, from most of the leading suppliers and a team of knowledgeable and well trained staff.
With easy parking and access from all routes, come and visit the shop for an enjoyable shopping experience in the country and relax in our coffee shop.

Wadswick Country Store has been established for over 20 years now. The store has grown from strength to strength, recently the store was recognised at the annual BETA (British Equestrian Trade Association) Awards in Feb 2010.

WADSWICK COUNTRY STORE ANNOUNCED ASWINNER OF NATIONAL RETAIL AWARD

Wadswick Country Store, near Box in Wiltshire, has been announced as winner of the SEIB LargeRetailer of the Year award at the BETA (British Equestrian Trade Association) Business Awards

The award was presented by BETA Executive Director, Claire Williams, during an awards ceremony at the British Equestrian Trade Association's Gala Dinner, held at the National Motorcycle Museum, near Birmingham, on 19 th February 2012.

The award is presented annually to the business considered to be the best in the UK. All Finalists were recommended for the award by their customers and industry peers with this process garnering over 4000 nominations from across the British Isles. The winner was decided by a combination of mystery shoppers, BETA members' votes and a final judging panel.
The store was commended by the judges on their excellent, impartial advice offered to customers, whether they be amateurs or top professionals. The presentation of the shop and the wide range of product lines available were also applauded.

On winning the award, Carolyn Barton, owner of Wadswick Country Store said, "We are delighted to have won this award for the second time. We endeavour to provide a personal service to our customers whatever their needs may be and as such are thrilled that this has been specifically recognised by the judges. It is testament to the hard work that is put in by all of our staff.

Tim and Carolyn Barton opened Wadswick Country Store in 1987 and it remains to this day a family-run business catering for country pursuits such as horse riding and shooting. Alongside an extensive saddlery, they stock a large selection of animal feeds, equestrian clothing, pet accessories and shooting equipment from leading suppliers as well as a substantial range of branded casual clothing including: Barbour, Dubarry, Schöfel and Musto.

Wadswick Country Store has previously been recognised by BETA, winning the same SEIB Retailer of the Year Award in 2010.

Wadswick Country Store, in Corsham were honoured in this 2009/2010's British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) Awards, taking the top honour of SEIB Retailer of the Year in the Large Shop Category. A consumer nominating Wadswick Country Store praised its level of service: "Professional, helpful staff who always have time for customers no matter what their level of riding." The mystery shopper judge agreed, noting that the shop was well presented with knowledgeable staff.

Wadswick Country Store sells a huge range of animal, horse and dog feeds and and a large range of country clothing including Barbour, Musto, Dubarry, Joules, etc. as well and everything for the horse and rider. They also have a coffee shop making it a desination for customers to enjoy meeting friends and browse round the shop.

Carolyn and Tim Barton of Wadswick said they were "over the moon" when the finalists were announced . To be nominated was a huge boost for them in these difficult times and they are delighted with the recognition they have been given for all their own and their staff's hard work.

It is all thanks to the customers who, over the last 20 years have made the store what it is today, not only one of the biggest stores in the South West of England but also now "The Best"!

With excellent new parking facilities including better access for disabled customers and the new website up and running at www.wadswick.co.uk with products being added daily there have been a lot of developments at Wadswick over the past year. Whether buying online or visiting the store they hope to be serving their customers well into the future.
