Very near to Corsham, lies the village of Biddestone. In an area of outstanding natural beauty, the village of Biddestone with its seventeenth century architecture, open green verges and duck pond is very popular.

There are two public houses in the village and a third on the A420, all serving good food.

There are numerous footpaths and walks in the area, all of which are clearly marked.

The avenue of trees from Corsham Court is very inviting and to the left, a footpath across open fields to the lake.
