About four miles from the farm is the village of Lacock, one of the film sets for Harry Potter. Lacock is an area of special historic interest with all buildings in the village being either grade 1 or 2 listed.
Places of interest include Lacock Abbey, owned by the National Trust.
Please note: a lot of the village is 'resident only' car parking but there is a large free car park at the far end of the village within easy walking distance.
A fine example of a Tudor house
Other features at Lacock include:
1. A eleventh century Saxon Cruck house in exceptional condition.
2. Probably one of the best examples of a tythe barn in the country.
3. Two period public houses with good food and fine ale, both having areas to cater for families.
4. The Fox Talbot photographic museum.
